The BMTC (The Basic Military Training Course) is a simplified form of military training that just certifies people for being in the air force. It’s usually not more than six months, and it mainly focuses on those who have secondary school certificates or diplomas, national certificate/diploma, NABTEB (NTA), RN/RM/NCE, or City & Guilds Certificate and Trade Test Certificate. It allows 18-22 years old with non-trade qualifications to train as Airmen and Airwomen while only allowing 18-25 years old with trade qualifications to train as Tradesmen / Women
